I had a great conversation with Frank Bristol (seen here with Prue Anderson, WCF Chair). He likened the process of the Creating our Future Forum to propagating plants, saying that to get a vigorous hybrid it takes two parents that are different, and the more different the parents, the more vigorous the new plant. So it is with ideas, the more diverse the views, the more likely it is that we will come up with that idea that really set us on fire.
Thanks for that idea Frank.
We have had lots of feedback from people who tell us that the process has been really useful to get them thinking about possibilities for helping Whanganui to be the very best it can be.
